Reds land Trevor Bauer in stunner

If the Yankees were hoping to land Trevor Bauer, they lost their chance.

The controversial Cleveland Indians right-hander was traded to the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night, part of a three-team deal with the San Diego Padres, according to ESPN.com.

Yasiel Puig is headed to Cleveland as part of the deal for Bauer, according to the report.

Bauer was fined by Major League Baseball earlier in the day for heaving a ball from the pitcher’s mound over the center-field wall at Kansas City last weekend.
