Woman gets ejected into boat’s propeller, dies — driver charged

A New Jersey woman got ejected from a moving boat and hurled into its propeller — suffering fatal injuries last weekend, cops said.

The person who was operating the 18-foot Beachcraft vessel, Arthur Lesbirel III, was arrested and charged with boating under the influence, according to State Police officials.

Iesha Thies, 39, was with Lesbirel and another individual last Sunday in Galloway Township when she somehow got thrown into the propeller. It’s unclear what caused her to be ejected, cops said.

The Mays Landing woman suffered “major injuries” and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The other passenger, Robert Pruchnicki, wound up being arrested and charged for allowing Lesbirel to operate the boat while under the influence.

Police were still investigating the incident on Thursday.

Convicted rapist killer strikes again after getting out of jail

A convicted rapist killer who strangled a teen in 1981 and was suspected of cutting out the eyes out of an earlier victim has been arrested on a new rape charge, six years after he got out of jail.
