Video shows Chris Cuomo fly into rage after man calls him ‘Fredo’

If he calls Chris Cuomo that again, he could be sleeping with the fishes.

The CNN anchor was caught on video flying into an abject rage at a man for calling him “Fredo” — an apparent insult referencing Fredo Corleone, the weak, dopey brother in “The Godfather.”

“Punk ass bitches from the right call me ‘Fredo.’ My name is Chris Cuomo, I’m an anchor on CNN,” the TV journalist says in the video, which was shared on Twitter Monday evening.

“Fredo is from the ‘Godfather,’ he was a weak brother and the use of it to an Italian is disparaging,” he continues.

The 49-year-old anchor tells the man that the name “Fredo” is as offensive to Italian Americans as the n-word is to African Americans.

“Don’t f–ing insult me like that,” the Queens native fumes. “You call me ‘Fredo’ it’s like I call you punk b–ch, you like that?”

The man in the video insists that he believed the anchor’s real name was Fredo.

But Cuomo, a dad of three, doesn’t buy it.

“You did not think that… stand up like a man,” he seethes. “Own what you said.”

The situation then escalates with Cuomo telling the man: “I’ll f–ing throw you down these stairs like a f–ing punk… you’re gonna call me Fredo, take a f–ing swing? I’ll f–ing wreck your shit.”

The clip was reportedly filmed Sunday on Shelter Island and sent to a right-wing website and blog, before being shared on Twitter.

A CNN spokesperson told The Post: “Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup. We completely support him.”

Cuomo is the son of former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo and the younger brother of Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Review: Animated ‘Chance’ takes on dog fighting with overly earnest yet well-intended spirit

The CG animated feature “Chance” is a well-intended but heavy-handed denunciation of the barbaric blood sport of dog fighting. He’s being held at the Eric. M Taylor Center in Queens on first degree attempted rape, according to the city Department of Correction website.
