Antonio Brown still has interest from NFL teams

Antonio Brown isn’t giving up on an playing again this season — he just may have to wait.

The wide receiver’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN he has had communications with “a few teams that are interested” in Brown, who was cut by the Patriots on Friday after he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women and threatening texts he allegedly sent to one of the accusers came to light.

Rosenhaus added that the teams wanted information regarding Brown’s “legal situation and the NFL investigation.” The report also stated that while there are interested teams, a deal for the free-agent receiver is unlikely happen until the NFL’s investigation comes to a conclusion, according to sources.

Brown has denied all of the allegations.

The threatening messages finally pushed Patriots owner Robert Kraft to cut ties with Brown, who played just one game for his team. In the texts, Brown allegedly accuses the woman of trying to extort money from him.

“Let’s lok[sic] up her background history see how broke this girl is,” Brown allegedly texted the unnamed accuser Wednesday night, after she publicly said he fired her from a painting job at his home after she rejected his sexual advances.

Brown has already been a member of three teams over the past two seasons. He was traded by the Steelers to the Raiders, who cut him after a circus-like preseason that included him getting into a heated confrontation with Oakland general manager Mike Mayock. Brown demanded to be released by the Raiders after fines voided the guaranteed money in his contract.

Review: Animated ‘Chance’ takes on dog fighting with overly earnest yet well-intended spirit

The CG animated feature “Chance” is a well-intended but heavy-handed denunciation of the barbaric blood sport of dog fighting. He’s being held at the Eric. M Taylor Center in Queens on first degree attempted rape, according to the city Department of Correction website. His arrest on Aug. 2 was based on a warrant issued by the state’s Division of Parole. The NYPD and the state DOC said they couldn’t provide details on Aniades’ latest offense.
